Jawoll – the million times proven sock wool classic for many years – including Beigarn to reinforce the heel and toe for a longer life of your socks! LANGYARNS JAWOLL is the Rolls Royce among the sock yarns. The wool comes from the Corriedale sheep. For JAWOLL we use only the finest provenance from Chilean Patagonia. In the sheep chop, the finest parts are sorted out of the wool fleece. The average thickness, ie the average fiber diameter, is only 25micron (1micron = 1/1000 mm). The wool feels very soft and wears very well. The Corriedale sheep live all year in the wild nature of Patagonia. Due to the sparse food their wool remains white and has an average length of 10cm. This makes it easy to dye, The colors are brilliant and the finished yarn is very resistant to pilling. In each 50g ball is a bobbin with Beilaufgarn to reinforce the heel and the tip.
